When server is reboting the tabs is simple closing for now. At Windows version there is a windows that asks if i want to reconnect, which doesn't allow to forget about connection. Please make the same at TSX version.17 votes
I have a wake-on-LAN script that I use as a connect task for some RDP sessions. But when I connect, the script is always run in a terminal on another display. And when the script is finished, I have to navigate back to RoyalTSX.
Not a big problem but I believe that it would be minor work to allow for an option "run without terminal" when you configure a task that is non-interactive and doesn't need any I/O.11 votes
This is now supported in the latest Royal TSX V3 beta which you can get here: https://www.royalapplications.com/ts/osx/features-beta
Feedback is very welcome! Thx!
Royal does a great job of supporting custom commands but what would be great is if it could use expect scripts (where supported) to do things like automagically su to root or auto exectue other commands. I have been doing this through key sequences, however, if the connection fails or if I change windows the text that would be typed into the terminal window gets typed into whatever window is currently active. So, for instance, if I have an ssh session that after connecting I want to issue "screen -x" and that ssh session fails to connect, royal will jump back to another tab and then type into that window "screen -x". I think using expect would help prevent this and make the key tasks more useable.

The latest Royal TSX V3 and iTerm2 plugin beta support iTerm2 triggers. I think this feature should match your use case.
You can read more about how iTerm2 triggers work here: http://www.iterm2.com/triggers.html
At the moment we only support the “Send Text” and “Run Command” actions and Instant match isn’t supported yet.

I think the port parsing is working no quite obvious.
I think there is two ways of parsing.
1. Move the value to the dedicated field
2. greyout the dedicated field if : is exists at the address line…
otherwise the behavior is not obvious..3 votes
Our group has implemented Microsoft's MFA (http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/multi-factor-authentication/). When connecting via RDP the session times out waiting for the phone call to happen.5 votes
Like clusterSSH all open remote connections in little windows on a tab. ie
ssh1 | ssh2
rdp1 | ssh34 votes
Plugin Request for Citrix ICA (Citrix Independent Computing Architecture) This would be invaluable when working as a Enterprise Engineer and trouble shooting Citrix Environments. Citrix has a impressive user base and I believe this would only increase the user base for Royal TS product line.16 votes
Split tabs ala iTerm2
What's better than tabbed browsing? Split tabs! I love having two ssh/telnet sessions side by side for troubleshooting. Nothing beats being able to see more than 1 sessions at the same time.
I hope this is considered for a future release!
File transfer and support for copy and paste. This works with standard RDP but I can't get anything to transfer using Royal TSX71 votes
Quick update on this:
The FreeRDP team recently added support for file transfers via clipboard redirection.
Unfortunately, the implementation is still pretty much a work in progress and not stable at this point.
Rest assured though that we’re committed to include it in Royal TSX as soon as it is in a stable state.
In the meantime you can still use the “Drive Redirection” feature found in the “Redirection” settings of your RDP connection.
It would be handy to have a tool to scan for life hosts with RDP connections and add them automatically to the connection group.1 vote
The first Royal TSX V3 beta with support for FTP, SFTP and SCP connections is now available: https://www.royalapplications.com/ts/osx/features-beta
I would like to see if yubikey support can be added to RoyalTSX for two authentication.
As I'm on to road, it would be nice to add more security to the files/program.11 votes
Currently, when closing RTSX a warning message comes up indicating that closing the application will close all open connections. It would be convienent to be able to reopen the application and have it remember the last state of connections so that when the application is reopened it reconnects to these resources (suggest a configurable option for this including a prompt at login to confirm reopening connections)27 votes

Suggest that the application allow AD-awareness that would enable a OU-tree browser, allowing the application to easily connect to all machines in a domain (organized by the AD OU tree) including new machines with a default set of credentials for the connection.31 votes
