Run commands, scripts etcetera without terminal
I have a wake-on-LAN script that I use as a connect task for some RDP sessions. But when I connect, the script is always run in a terminal on another display. And when the script is finished, I have to navigate back to RoyalTSX.
Not a big problem but I believe that it would be minor work to allow for an option "run without terminal" when you configure a task that is non-interactive and doesn't need any I/O.
This is now supported in the latest Royal TSX V3 beta which you can get here: https://www.royalapplications.com/ts/osx/features-beta
Feedback is very welcome! Thx!
Perfect! Glad to hear it's working well for you! =)
Thank you! I have tested this feature a couple of times now and it works just as I wished. It even puts some informational messages in the console log, nice!
As for the rest of the beta, I must give it more time. But it feels quite solid.
